Eskinita Art Gallery launches 2021 with a solo exhibition by Lawrence Cervantes entitled “TAKE OVER”. This solo exhibit of Cervantes continues to explore his narrative through his ever imaginative works of art which now delves into more mature and serious realism.

Cervantes, through his illustrated work, traverses and focuses on the mystical journey of both soul and spirit. Deeply influenced by religious perspectives in his earlier days, the subject of one’s soul is a recurring subject matter for Cervantes, oftentimes experimenting with impasto to convey intense elements and subjects in his canvas. For this show at Eskinita Art Gallery, Cervantes creates nine new works which will be on view from January 9 to February 2, 2021.
