B. Bravo adds a touch of love to every funked-out late night synth groove he gets his hands on. Hailing from California under the infuence of funkmasters like Roger Troutman, George Clinton, Roy Ayers, Herbie Hancock, and hip hop producers like Dr. Dre, Battlecat and J Dilla, he’s crafted his own sound in electronic music connecting interstellar funk, hip hop and r&b with dance and bass music.

As a founding member of Salva’s Frite Nite label/crew based in San Francisco, he is also a driving force in the emerging worldwide Modern Funk Movement. Bravo’s massive tune ‘Computa Love’ gained international acclaim as one of London tastemaker Benji B’s ‘best of 2009′ selections for his BBC 1xtra radio program, and as the lead track and 12″ from Gilles Peterson’s 2010 Brownswood Electr*c compilation. Red Bull Music Academy hand picked Bravo as a participant to attend their coveted program in London for 2010 and continue to support him as celebrated alumni.

As a DJ and live performer, complete with synths, vocoder and talkbox, Bravo has shared the stage with artists like Chromeo, Dam-Funk, Flying Lotus and has serenaded crowds across the world with his outerspace boogie and dirty grinding synth grooves at festivals like SXSW, Detroit Electronic Music Festival, Snowglobe, Decibel Festival, Positivus Festival, HARD Los Angles, Glade Festival UK, and Sonar in Barcelona.

Following the release of his third and highly praised EP, ‘Kiss & Tell’ on the London based Earnest Endeavours imprint, Bravo teamed up with fellow SF synth wizard Teeko to deliver the superb ‘Starship Connection EP’ – named after their seductive live band ‘Starship Connection’ on the Frite Nite label.

In 2013 Bravo and Teeko were commissioned by Bastard Jazz Records to compile vol. 2 of their ‘Tempo Dreams’ series which was received with much acclaim and included their smooth 2-stepper, ‘We Can Go All Night’. In the works for 2014 – Bravo’s full length LP!
