‘The Siren’s Executioner’ is a Trese comic strip written by Budjette Tan with art by Kajo Baldisimo and part of the 10 Years to Save the World exhibition. The comic art anthology is available online and on display at the Open Centre at MediaCityUK from 7 December until 14 January 2022.
A comic in response to the climate crisis with a spotlight on the devastating impact of microplastics pollution on marine life.
Ten Years to Save the World is a project supported by the British Council as part of a number of creative commissions in response to climate change and COP26.
The project is a partnership between The Lakes International Comic Art Festival (based in the UK) KOMIKET (based in the Philippines) and Creative Concern (a Manchester-based communications agency specializing in sustainability).
