Join Ayala Museum and Served Manila as they travel the flavors of history in “UNBOXING THE GALLEON TRADE” with Claude Tayag on August 14, 4PM.
As we celebrate of the 500th anniversary of the first circumnavigation of the world, the session will be surveying some of the most prominent food and dishes exchanged during the Manila-Acapulco Trade to explore the impact of the 250-year relationship between Mexico and Philippines and reveal what it says about our Filipino identity.
Get to listen to the stories behind the champorado, chicharon, Filipino vinegar. Plus, learn how to make champorado and two types of cocktails using lambanog and tequila (with our guest mixologist, Lennon Aguilar).
