I am writing in the dark whith a blue candle lit at the edge of the table, perhaps it could also be the only light guiding the insect, covered in shadows, struggling for flight. The silence of this room, gets filled in with dogs in frenzy as cicadas are in chorus with the tune of a church organ – gets broken by every second of this time. The light flickers, the insect calms in pain, the lizards prey.

But it will never end here. When the candle stops burning and the clock stops ticking, dogs and insects and lizards will not be sleeping. As long as you could see through the dark, you will never be in silence, cicadas are still singing.
