About the 3 award-winning short films
Au Revoir Philip follows the adventures of Luz, an OFW who tries her luck in France as a domestic helper. The narrative progresses in the form of love letters addressed to her lover whom she left for greener pastures.
Au Revoir Philip was shot in France and in the Philippines, and has won 3rd place for best short film in the Philippines for Gawad CCP Film Festival.
Babae (Woman) is a coming of age story of two women set in the city slum community beside railroad tracks.
Babae won BEST DIRECTOR in Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival and it also won BEST SHORT FILM in Cinemagaylesbico International Film Festival in Milan, Italy.
Jose, nicknamed “Little,” turns his back on his father the family farm for a bigger life in Manila. Yet all best laid plans don’t quite work out as he intends.
The National commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) of the Philippines awarded a grant for this short. “Little” successfully has been selected in different international film festivals too.
