Eskinita Art Farm launches the 1st solo exhibit of Macj Turla as TUKLAS 2019 grantee. With a single glance, Turla’s first solo exhibition, YAHUB, elicits a sense of yearning. The thematic ambiance captures that of scorched memorabilia and photographs that evoke a sense of eagerness to be forgotten. The works he is exhibiting in YAHUB are life experiences presented to look like old photos that are monochromatic in nature. But these photographs hold memories that are most important and have the most vivid influence in his life, and that, for him, is the true color of life.
