Welcome to Yok’s World!
I’d like to think that life comes with its fair share of the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. As I journey on with life, I go with every turn of it, never going against it. Of course, there are things that we can control, but there are also things that we can’t. The best thing I can do when life throws a curveball at me is to make the most out of the moment, no matter the circumstance.
In this show, I invite you all to take a step into my mind and see life through my eyes. These paintings are a reflection of myself out in the world and I’ve expressed myself in different states and emotions possible. I may not get to control my way out of what life throws at me at times, but I get to control how I deal with it and how I can grow through it.
