The Museo ng Libingan sa Ilalim ng Lupa ng Nagcarlan will hold a FREE lecture entitled “ZONA: PAGTATALAGA NG MGA POOK-PAMANA” on 17 May 2019, Friday at the Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery Historical Landmark (NUCHL) Chapel, 10:00 AM – 12:00 NN.

The government sets guidelines in the preservation and protection of historical, cultural, and heritage sites in order to safeguard and sustain these properties for posterity. Arch. Benjamin Concepcion E. Empleo from the Historic Preservation Division of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines will reintroduce the guidelines, policies, and standards for the conservation and development of historic centers/heritage zones among local government officials and workers.

This lecture aims to guide the participants in the management and maintenance of historic centers and heritage zones in their localities.

This lecture is open to cultural workers and heritage advocates.
