1989 The Velvet Revolution Exhibit

On the occasion of the commemoration of the Czech National Day of Freedom, the Czech Embassy in Manila in partnership with Ateneo de Manila University European Studies Program and Department of History, and Areté cordially invite you to the 1989 The Velvet Revolution Exhibit.

In celebration of the 30th year of this important history, this exhibit features photos from the peaceful revolution called the Velvet Revolution, which happened in 1918, and led to the end of the totalitarian regime in Czechoslovakia.

The exhibit will be opened on November 18, 4:00 PM at the Zalamea Lobby, and will be displayed at the Areté Art Management Lobby from November 19 to December 13, 2019. Prior to the opening of the exhibit, a lecture-forum will be conducted at The Loft, Arete, Ateneo de Manila University. Registration for the Lecture-Forum starts at 1:30 PM.
