Concert featuring French guitarist, Thibault Momper to be opened by Filipina Guitar Trio, Triple Fret.

 

Thibault Momper
Thibault Momper Born in Nancy in 1981, he started playing guitar at the age of 7 and completed his degrees in Classical guitar, Music Theory, Music History and Chamber Music (the latter at the age of 13), at the Music Conservatory of Nancy (C.N.R. de Nancy). He then perfected his classical guitar studies at the prestigious post-graduate Music Conservatory of Paris (Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris), taking part in Roland Dyens’ and Jean-Marc Zvellereuther’s classes and graduating in 2001, three years after his enrolment, with highest distinction. His teaching career began right after, first of all at the Nancy Conservatory, where he served three years as a guitar teacher, and secondly at the Music Conservatory of Luxembourg, where he currently works as a classical guitar professor. Parallel to that, he is holding guitar classes at the European School in Luxembourg. His resume includes several international prizes (Italy, England, France). As a musician, he is actively involved in different projects encompassing various styles, from jazz to tango, from electro to classical music. As a composer, he is currently working on several arrangement and musical pieces.
