Images of nature pervade Trek Valdizno’s abstraction; hidden in itself an array of painting techniques. It is an introspection on one’s self following a creative state of flow; a process of active imagining and involuntary moving in painting. In Trek’s works, the space of flow becomes real, played out in earth-tones, depicting forms of the flora and fauna extracting itself from the realms of the artist’s psyche; a seemingly technicolor world of information gained from various experiences.

Trek Valdizno a Bachelor of Fine Arts graduate in Painting from the University of the Philippines in Diliman, has pride himself of over 31 solo exhibitions and has joined group exhibitions for more than 30 years. His works has been exhibited in Ayala Museum, Vargas Museum and Cultural Center of the Philippines. He also did commissioned and collaborative works in both the Philippines and abroad.

Trek Valdizno mounts a solo exhibition for the year 2019 at Galleria Duemila from September 7 – October 31 2019 with an opening reception on September 7, Saturday at 4pm.
