“Morbus” is an exhibition at the NCCA Gallery in Intramuros (Manila) featuring members of MakiSining: Ritche Yee, Paul Hilario, Jett Ilagan, Niko Cedicol, Bong Salazar, Sayid Cedicol, and Marvin Oloris.
Joining for the opening are Mr. Danny Rayos Del Sol (Head, NCAG), Mr. Noell Farol (South Luzon Representative, NCVA), Ms. Precious Leano (cultural worker), and Mr. Joseph Lao (entrepreneur). There will be a short program and a “healing ritual” (performance).
For curator Laya Boquiren, “Morbus” is a potentially iterative exhibit that explores various conceptual tenors around the idea of diseases, including those about our cities and the nation.
The exhibit runs until August 31, 2022.
