During the height of the pandemic, artist Regina Reyes relocated to the city of General Santos, the southernmost tip of the island of Mindanao. “Notes on Surrender”, her first exhibition after the move, features a collection of paintings, drawings and mixed media collages–standing as visual footnotes, declarations on the power of imperfection, an addendum on traversing the unknown, and a love letter to art and its creation.
