In case you missed it, we’re now on the third and final public program of the exhibition “Imelda Cajipe Endaya: Pagtutol at Pag-asa”!
Happening on 26 November at 3PM, Teodora Alonso Reading Club: A Discussion on the Work of Imelda Cajipe Endaya will present how the artistic and cultural work of Cajipe Endaya has informed or figured into the speakers’ own work and research both in the past and at the present.
The discussion will include critic Eileen Legaspi Ramirez and artist Judith Adam, both live via zoom in a discussion moderated by professor Sofia Guillermo. Artist Brenda Fajardo and scholar Neferti Tadiar join via pre-recorded videos. The discussion will conclude with a reflection by the artist Imelda Cajipe Endaya herself.
The event will conclude with the turnover of “In Certain Seasons: Mothers Write in the time of COVID-19”, an anthology that features the work “Salinha’y Iligtas” by Imelda Cajipe Endaya on its cover. The book is published by the CCP Intertextual Division supported by the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines and the Philippine PEN.
This public program is FREE admission but will be limited to 30 on-site attendees on a first come, first served, basis. See you at the Cultural Center of the Philippines
