In, 2010, Mark Renemin M. San Pedro finished his course, Bachelor of Fine Arts major in Advertising at Technological University of the Philippines, Manila. And became known as Rem San Pedro in the art scene.
As a student and professional artist, he already participated in numerous groups shows and won consistently in Shell Art Competition and Metrobank Art Competition. As well as representing the Philippines along with other fellow artist, here and abroad in the 1st Malaysia Art Biennale in 2014. He also conducted 2 one man show last 2016, Metro Gallery and 2019, Sampaguita Gallery.
His work has been at the intersection between Visual Art, Music and Tattoo. he was known for making dark background, Human and Animal figure, Glossy and Matte, Bold Colors, Simple Abstracted lines, Textured accent minerals and spontaneous detailed geometrical patters, which he also incorporates in his tattoo works and design.
Hence, his fascination in eclectic and eccentric design of Art Nouveau and Art Deco made him explore topics base in Sacred Geometry, Mathematics, Nature and Human Behavior. He keeps on challenging how far might the fundamentals of art can create in an artwork. He continues to diversify and broaden my knowledge in art with different media, from acrylic on canvas to pen and ink on paper to different sculptural materials to innovative art installations and so on.
