In 2020, 98B and HUB: Make Lab launched their experimental home for creative merchants: Bahay-Bahayan.
Bahay-Bahayan is an initiative by 98B COLLABoratory, done through the help of the HUB: Make Lab and First United Building, created as an off-shoot of the Future Market, with both a physical and online shop. It is their response to the changes brought by the pandemic that intends for local creative businesses to have a chance in finding footing and gaining roots with us so we can weather this pandemic together.
This 2021, they continue putting up our home!
With local makers to take part in this support initiative in Escolta, Binondo Manila who sell locally-made items, handmade goods, pre-loved knick-knacks, and vintage finds.
The first cycle of Bahay-Bahayan will run for roughly 3 months, from February 12 – May 9, in the HUB | Make Lab, located on the ground floor of the historic First United Building. In addition to the physical space, sellers are also in online Bahay-Bahayan shop under www.hubmakelab.com.
