FASHION OPEN STUDIO is a worldwide showcasing initiative of interactive open studio events which takes place during Fashion Revolution Week. This international calendar of presentations, talks, openings and workshops will shine a light on innovative emerging designers, established trailblazers and major players, who are finding alternative ways of producing fashion that is mindful of the planet and its resources. It is part of the globally recognised #whomademyclothes initiative. The industry is looking for answers and it is the smaller brands who are finding innovative new ways of doing things.

TELAstory Inc. is a Filipino startup which provides ethical garment manufacturing services to conscious fashion brands, as well as producing an in-house sustainable clothing line. TELAstory gives more power and better profit to Filipino garment workers by paying a real living wage, while manufacturing clothing in a responsible and environmentally friendly way using natural and biodegradable fibers grown in the Philippines- local cotton, pineapple fiber, coconut, and more. TELAstory also repurposes textile waste from mainstream garment factories to create designs for clients not only in the Philippines but in the USA, Australia, Canada, and Germany, taking home-grown Filipino sustainable fashion global.

This year, TELAstory have partnered with Fashion Revolution Philippines for an open studio event and DIY workshop on April 25th designed to educate consumers on the process of garment construction, open up a transparent discussion on the logistics of running a sustainable fashion brand in the Philippines, and help participants connect with the process of slow fashion.
