We are inviting songwriters to our first event for the year – FILSCAP Songwriters’ Night XV! For this open mic, we will now be shifting to online registrations.

ONLINE REGISTRATION (50 SLOTS)
For those who want to register online, 50 slots will be available including 5 automatic slots for the first 5 FILSCAP members to register.

For those who wish to be part of the featured performers, you may audition for a slot by filling up the form with a link to your LIVE ACOUSTIC performance. 12 slots will be available.

THE NEW ONLINE REGISTRATION RULES 💻
This event is open to FILSCAP members and non-members.
1. For those who want to register online, 50 slots will be available.
– Schedule: Feb 12 | 6 PM – Feb 19 | 10 PM
2. For those who wish to be part of the featured performers, you may audition for a slot by filling up the form with a link to your LIVE ACOUSTIC performance. 12 slots will be available.
– Schedule: Feb 1 – Feb 9 | 10 PM
I. FOR ONLINE REGISTRANTS
a. A total of 50 slots will be available including 5 automatic slots that will be allocated for the first 5 FILSCAP members who will register.
b. By February 20, the FILSCAP organizers will be texting or emailing you to update you if you are part of the 50 online registrants. You must confirm on or before February 21 (12 NN) to secure your slot. If you missed the deadline, the organizers reserve the right to forfeit your slot and give it to the next-in-line.
II. FOR FEATURED PERFORMER ONLINE AUDITIONEES
a. You can audition for a slot by filling up the form with a link to your LIVE ACOUSTIC PERFORMANCE not lather than February 9, 10 PM.
– Videos recorded via phone are allowed.

b. The 12 successful auditionees need not register online again.
– If in case you auditioned but was not part of the reserve slots, you need to fill up the online registration form on or before Feb 19, 10 PM.
c. The successful auditionees will be announced on February 12 on FILSCAP social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter). Please follow our accounts to get updates.
III. REGISTRATION DURING THE EVENT
a. The order for performance on the day will be first come first serve but you must be part of the 50 online registered performers.
b. Online registered performers should be registered at the venue by 4 PM to 7 PM. Otherwise, the slot will be given to the walk-in registrants.
c. If you missed the venue registration cut-off, you will be moved after the last person of the walk-in registration. Please strictly follow the registration time during the event to avoid this.
d. If you have confirmed your attendance but failed to attend the event without prior notice, you will be blacklisted from joining our other Songwriters’ Night Open Mic events for 2020.
e. Walk-in registrants will only be accommodated if one of the 50 online registrants back out.

EVENT MECHANICS ⚙️
1. Your performance may be done solo or with a band (as long as the composer is one of the performers).
2. You are only allowed to perform ONE original song only.
3. You are NOT allowed to sing any song that was already performed in any of the previous Songwriters’ Night events of FILSCAP.
4. Each performer will be given a maximum of 5 minutes only on stage (inclusive of set up, intro, and performance).
5. STRICTLY ACOUSTIC SET-UP ONLY
– The use of pre-recorded materials (e.g., minus one and digital sound effects), and electrical instruments will NOT be allowed.
– However, the keyboard and electric bass guitar will be exempted.
6. On stage, we can provide you with the following: One acoustic guitar, one cajon, and one keyboard
