OVERVIEW
For over 30 years, the Celestino M. Dizon Auditorium has been a cornerstone of UA&P’s holistic education. It serves as a venue for academic events and various cultural and developmental activities for students, parents, and other stakeholders.
After years of use, the CMD Auditorium requires significant renovations and upgrades to meet the evolving needs of the UA&P community.
GIVING heART
Restoring the Legacy, Transforming the Future
GIVING heART is UA&P’s, Phildiz Studios’, and Galerie Joaquin’s response to support the restoration and upgrading of the Dizon Auditorium. This initiative is a collective effort to preserve the cultural landmark, ensuring it continues to inspire future generations.
The digital catalogue sale will begin on June 1, 2025, and the fundraising campaign will culminate in an exclusive exhibit event in September 2025.
NATURE OF WORK
RENOVATION & UPGRADING
Civil Works:
General construction, repainting, flooring replacement and carpeting, waterproofing , room renovations, acoustic treatment and soundproofing, etc.
Furnishing and installation replacement/upgrade:
Supply and installation of theater seats, curtain replacement
Mechanical works:
Air-conditioning unit replacement, air circulation system
Electrical and lighting:
General power and lighting
Technical installations:
Audio, video, lights
TOTAL ESTIMATED COST: P26 Million
How can you be part of Giving heART?
DIRECT DONATION OF ANY AMOUNT
Direct financial donations to the UA&P Celestino M. Dizon Auditorium Fund. The UA&P shall provide official receipts (ORs) and tax-deductible certificates of donation (CODs).
SILENT AUCTION
One hundred percent (100%) of the proceeds generated from the silent auction of ten (10) limited-edition and other fine art nature photographs by Philip Dizon shall be donated to the Fund. UA&P shall provide ORs and CODs.
ACQUISITION OF ARTWORKS
GALERIE JOAQUIN – Own a masterpiece from Galerie Joaquin’s catalogue. Twenty percent (20%) of sales proceeds from Galerie Joaquin artworks will go to the Dizon Auditorium Fund.
PHILIP DIZON – Purchase photographs from Philip Dizon’s Catalogue Raisonne. Fifty percent (50%) of the proceeds will be donated to the Dizon Auditorium Fund.
DONATION STUBS
Donate P25,000, P50,000, P100,000, or P200,000 and claim a digital donor stub. Each stub comes with a unique artwork as our token of gratitude.
