Hiblá

On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, Orange Project presents Hiblá, an exhibition developed in partnership with FotomotoPH with the collaboration of the Foundation University Department of Fine Arts.
Hiblá highlights Orange Project’s enduring role as a vital hub for contemporary art and community engagement. As a string of photographs spanning analogue and digital spaces of production, some never before exhibited in public, selected works of 9 photographers invite viewers to explore multiple layers of connection—between artist, medium and subject; between history, image and context; between local, national and global points of view. A thread may refer to a micro-blog that stands as the curatorial tool, mixing photos, videos, texts to bring to light a visual conversation.
As Orange Project enters its third decade, the exhibition affirms its ongoing commitment to nurturing artistic innovation, cultivating the exchange of knowledge, and promoting sustainable creative practices. Through this dynamic presentation, Hiblá honors the past, engages the present, and gestures toward a future shaped by shared vision and meaningful collaboration.
Featuring works by Faye Abantao, Jhundel Asunan, Cru Camara, Stephanie Frondoso, Tommy Haffalla, Nap Jamir, Neal Oshima, Sonny Thakur, and MM Yu.
Hiblá opens on September 13, 3 PM at the Main Gallery. This exhibition will be on view until October 29, 2025.
