A Stellar x Twist Battle of the Bands

MECHANICS/DETAILS

1. A non-refundable entry fee of Php 500.00 is required for every band. Payment must be made at the audition venue when your band has been picked to audition on our first round live audition shows.

2. Participants should not be a part of a recording label or any things related.

3. Interested participants must fill up and submit the registration form linked here:

4. Band members must be composed of three (3) to eight (8) members.

5. Participants must be 18 years old and above.

6. Participants must not have two or more bands participating.

7. On the first round of the auditions, participants will be judged by Stellar and Twist Productions’ head members, known artists in the indie scene and sponsors. On the second round of the auditions, participants will be judged by known artists, music icons (indie & mainstream) and sponsors. On the semis round, participants will be judged by known artists and music icons (indie & mainstream) only. On the final round, participants will be judged by known artists and music icons (indie & mainstream) only.

8. Only 80 bands will be accepted to perform on our first round live audition shows.

9. There will be 10 first round live audition gigs composed of 8 bands per night. 4 bands per night will be accepted (a total of 40 bands) and will move on to the second round. Results will be posted after the second round on Stellar and Twist productions’ Facebook pages.

10. There will be 5 second round live audition gigs composed of 8 bands per night. 2 bands per night will push through and move on to the semi-final round (10 band semi-finalists).

11. From the semis round, 5 bands will be chosen to battle on the final round.

12. Each participating band will have to play 2 original songs and 1 cover song for the first and second round of auditions.

13. The participating band will be given 25-30 mins on stage.

14. As much as possible, set of songs and performances should not contain vulgarities, profanities, racist remarks, violence etc.

15. There shall be no withdrawal from the competition after the first round of auditions. Again, there are no refunds.

16. Prizes are as follows:

• First Place – Php 15,000 , trophy, certificate, live sessions in Stellar and Twist, bar tours and will be one of the main acts to play on our first ever Stellar X Twist indie-fest happening at the end of the year.

• Second place – Php 10,000 , certificate, gigs under Stellar and Twist

• Third place – Php 5,000 , certificate, gigs under Stellar and Twist

*the 80 bands that are part of the process from start to finish will also get opportunities to play under Stellar and Twist gigs.
