1335MABINI and AsianArt:Future is pleased to present an exhibition juxtaposing Philippine 20th century abstract art and Cordillera (Ifugao) traditional art, with a view to allow you to gain your own experience. It is not about searching for traces of Cordillera art in the abstract art. It is about presenting the aesthetic vocabulary, using the same principles, in different times, from a quite different cultural background.
