Receiving a letter was always an exciting thing—anticipating the arrival of a letter, having the envelope in your hands; perusing and appreciating it’s design, finally opening the letter and devouring its contents. A letter’s effect is always different, drawing out different emotions, different stories, and different experiences when we read them.

‘Love Letters from a City Girl’ is my letter to anyone willing to open it, willing to view and read the works. It is my chance at sharing with them what the city is to me, what I think of it, what it shows me, and the hardships, challenges, adventures, love, laughter, growth, and gifts I receive.

How are you? I am well and hope you are too. I can’t wait to tell you what happened to me today.”
