Antimano tinkers with untold stories, arrests every unsung emotion and squeezes it into every song that they bring about on their record and performances. Their music is a coalescence of catchy pop-alternative, brit-indie rawness and pinoy sensibilities. A group of four composed of Pipo Estioko(bass), Tati Abellanosa(guitar), Allan Floralde(Drums) and Biboy Rempillo(vocals/guitar/keys).
The band was born in September 2010 out of love for music and the desire to escape the burnouts of life's routine. Biboy, a Laguna boy and considers music as his long-time mistress sought Allan, a flamboyant drummer from Tondo crazy enough to name his son Kidlat and Tati, a femme 'le artiste who is madly inlove with lespaul guitars - Both his colleagues in the Video Post Production and Advertising industry - for collaboration with his written original compositions. He sent out message invitations to them with the title "Halina't Rumak!" The two didn't pass-up the opportunity to rock out. "Bahista na lang ang kulang." - a subject title, Biboy coined for a classifieds thread in a Music Forum Site - started the search for a steady bassist. Pipo - taking-up Law and in government service, an unlikely fellow as Biboy remembers meeting him for the first time wearing polo-barong - emerged from the search. But by God, underneath that polo-barong, are moves on stage rock and roll haven't seen before. With the line-up complete, they started to riff it out under different musical influences and the music they made sounded as if they could do this thing forever. Playing original materials about love-hate-love, impending emotional breakdowns, conspiracies, escalator romances, dancing neon lights, Nostradamus, supernovas, mushroom clouds and Houdinni. It's random! It's Spontaneous! It's Antimano!
