A new Filipino wedding song has just been released on your favorite digital platforms! O AKING SINTA by Little Mustard Seed features the exquisite voice of Reeza Yukari and is bound to capture the hearts of hopeless romantics. This incredibly beautiful song tells the story of a secret love that blossomed into a promise of a faithful, loving union.

O aking sinta, ang pag-ibig ko’y walang hanggan.
Katuwang ng buhay ko, pangako sa’yo,
Mamahalin kita, ikaw ang tangi kong sinta.

This special collaboration between two singer-songwriters was nothing short of a miracle. K Sheerin Go, who founded Little Mustard Seed in California, co-wrote the song with Reeza Yukari via Facebook Messenger. K Sheerin recalls, “Reeza Yukari and I were neighbors in the Philippines when she was still a toddler. Early in life, she was called ‘special’ and was later on referred to as a ‘person with disability.’ We have lost touch since, but she messaged me out of the blue in 2022 to express her fondness for Little Mustard Seed’s music,” The single, “Angel of God”, is a favorite and highly looped bedtime song among a growing number of families. Nurturing the seeds of faith through music is a special mission of Little Mustard Seed.

“I didn’t know at first that she could sing. We soon realized that God blessed Reeza Yukari with a very special gift—the voice of an angel. Both my mom and I were awestruck when we heard her sing for the first time during a video chat. Her voice was simply splendid and pure. That episode reminds me of how Susan Boyle wowed the whole world on Britain’s Got Talent,” gushes K Sheerin.

“She told me that she dreamed of having a career in music, so I encouraged her to write and sing her own songs too,” continues K Sheerin. The two eventually decided to create a love song for Reeza Yukari to record. “She wanted to write about K-Pop and long distance romance, while I sought to make a wedding song that underscores the role of grace and faith in finding and marrying your true love.”

In January, when they finally finished composing O AKING SINTA, the wind carried sad news: Reeza Yukari, who had been enjoying remission from cancer, was going to fight yet another battle against the disease. “She is bravely undergoing chemotherapy now. And through all her challenges in life, what shines through are her cheerfulness, faith in God, and deep desire to make music from the heart. There is grace in creating music with her and supporting her dreams. Reeza Yukari dedicates this song to all her favorite Korean actors and K-pop stars, especially Enhypen and Lee Chae-min whom she hopes to meet someday. I hope many will come out to support her too and be inspired when they listen to her sing.”
