RightsCon is the premier summit series bringing together civil society, engineers, activists, lawyers, companies, and governments on the subject of the internet and human rights.
This March, RightsCon will move to Manila to convene civil society and key decision makers in this rapidly evolving region.
This event, which will be jointly hosted by Access, EngageMedia, and local partner Foundation for Media Alternatives, will bring together thought leaders, highlight emerging voices, engage the technology sector, host strategy and implementation sessions, and provide opportunities to showcase new initiatives. And once again, we’ll organize unique roundtables that allow the private sector, government decision-makers, civil society, activists, and academics to meet face-to-face.
These summits are dedicated to protecting the open internet and defending the digital rights of its users. They are civil society-owned events that produce measurable outcomes and feature programs focused on post-conference action.
To compliment the official conference programming, we are partnering with various organizations to host Satellite Events before and after the conference.
