​The “Seated in Sentiment” Art Exhibition is a beautiful fusion of creativity and compassion. This collaborative project, brought to life by Megaworld Lifestyle Malls and the UST Atelier Alumni Association Inc., will feature a unique collection of rocking chairs, or “silyas,” transformed into stunning works of art by talented Thomasian artists.

​Each chair serves as a vibrant tribute to S.I.L.Y.A. Sa Iyo Lolo at Lola Yantok aming Alay, an advocacy committed to honoring and caring for the elderly.The Art materials are sponsored by Focus Perma Acrylic Paint and brushes.Through their art, the artists will turn each chair into a canvas that not only tells a story but also celebrates the lives and legacies of our beloved seniors. This project beautifully embodies the phrase, “Aspire to Inspire,” by using art as a vehicle for social good.

​On September 10, 2025, the heart of the project will be revealed. The finished masterpieces will then be unveiled to the public at 1 PM. These unique, hand-painted rocking chairs will be displayed and made available for sale at various Megaworld Malls. The best part? All proceeds from the sales will go directly to supporting initiatives that provide care and assistance to the elderly.

This exhibition is more than just a display of art; it’s a powerful statement about community, respect, and the enduring bond between generations. By purchasing a chair, you’re not only acquiring a one-of-a-kind piece of art, but you’re also contributing to a cause that truly matters.
