The great unknown is a dark and terrifying place but only faith, dearest, will take you further. Further where trust is without borders.
The Metro Gallery presents “Sublime”, a heartfelt art exhibit featuring the works of the young artist Gino Nagret.
With “Faith” as its central theme, the show is reminiscent of our personal struggles, pain, and journey to grow in faith during life’s trying times. The exhibit presents art pieces that communicate narratives of taking the courage to outgrow our fears, to be hopeful, and to surrender ourselves fully to the will of the higher being.
The artworks’ dominant elements – illustrations of flowers and ribbons surrounding biblical figures – are symbolic of a person’s purity, devotion, and faithfulness.
The seven-piece oil painting collection manifest the artist’s rendition on contemporary arts, producing a composition of refined and intricate strokes, polished textures, and sophisticated color scheme which bring delight to the spectator’s eyes.
While we have yet to endure the burden of the current pandemic situation, the exhibit reminds us how our spirituality keeps us grounded, and helps us to endure life’s uncertainties.
When the dark lingers long, and when the shadows feel like giants, nevertheless, our faith will stand still.
