Six artists of different backgrounds, hometowns, generations, styles and medium push the boundaries of connection, kinships and belonging in the group exhibit called “SULYAP”. Opening on March 16, 2025 at vMeme Estancia, artists Lenore RS Lim, Edgardo Lantin, Rico Lascano, Esmie Gayo McLaren, Aze Ong and Avie Felix take a glance at what was, what is and what is becoming of their journeys back home. Home being an active and limitless word for comfort, moments of ease and peace, a space of mundane rituals, and an ever-changing concept of permanence, relations and space, SULYAP builds a home of diverse compositions that somehow finds a perfect place.
