For every little thing that we do, a corresponding effect happens to those around us. These unconscious deeds create a sort of butterfly effect that ripples a collective outcome for everyone. In celebration of International Women’s Month, Sarah Geneblazo paints compositions of greenery and urban decay, manifesting works of self-healing akin to nature slowly taking back its place. “The Personal is Collective” is an narrative inspired by personal anecdotes from her past traumas and encourages self-acknowledgment and ultimately, moving forward.
