MONO8 is excited to announce the opening of “The Whole Is Something Beside the Parts” on August 3 at 4 PM. The show features works by Jomike Tejido and Julieanne Ng.
Unified by the dominance of geometric abstraction in their artistic practices, Tejido and Ng explore repetition, sequence, and the multiplicity of meaning attached to forms. Influenced by the different approaches in meditation through the presentation of patterns, the exhibition examines parts and fragments and their links to transition and constraint.
