Jonas Burgos --- Friends grieve on his absence; comrades remember his fight; and people who've only heard his name feel the pain. What more to a mother does such a loss mean? Left with no trace of justice and a society that remains the same, how does a mother's heart speak of her son's fate?
Mrs. B, a monologue, recalls the disappearance of Jonas Burgos, an activist who was abducted on April 2007.
Directed by Soc Jose, CAP's Secretary-General, and written by Grundy Constantino and Rowena Festin, Mrs. B is starred by multi-talented actress Pinky Amador.
Mrs. B premieres on April 18, 2009, at six in the evening at Ten 02 Bar and Restaurant. The monologue is one of theprojects of the Concerned Artists of the Philippines (CAP), a people-oriented organization of artists and cultural workers, for the benefit of the Desaparecidos.
