SYNERGY SESSIONS is back to kickstart the community in 2015! We’ll be bringing the fire, flow and drums communities back to life for yet another exciting year ahead.
Across the globe, fire/flow art and drum community meet ups happen in parks, beaches, city squares and music festivals, where passionate artists share space, energy and love, to create a community gathering that fuses together the beautiful harmony of fire dancing, with the rhythmic beating of drums.
As Aristotle once said “The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.” With these words, we welcome everyone to join the fun and our growing local community!

– 9PM – Doors open. Fire + drum circle preparations
– 9:15PM – Ceremonial firelighting + drum circle call
– 9:15-9:30PM – Start of opening fire + drum circle
– 9:30-10PM – Open djembe drum workshop (group + pairings)
– 10-10:30PM – Open poi/flow art workshop (group + pairings)
– 10:30-11:15PM – Main fire + drum circle
– 11:15PM-12AM – Band (TBC)
– 12-1AM – DJ Christman + open fire/flow art jams

SYNERGY SESSIONS is a fire + flow art + drum community meet up co-presented by our Flow Arts Philippines Community and Adinkra Lumads Djembe Community, and sponsored by Planet Zips : Poi Philippines and B-Side, The Collective. As a highlight, we will be having our awesome resident DJ SAFEMANSOUND (Christopher Aranas Adalia) rockin’ the decks and soundtracking our awesome flow sessions. Open sharing flow art and djembe workshops will also be offered for all our new guests wanting to learn!
Admission is FREE, so EVERYONE is welcome!
For jamming participants – kindly bring your own drums, fire props and fuel. We will be strict with safety procedures, prop care and making sure everyone has a fun, but respectful time 🙂
For djembe/poi/flow art workshop participants – djembes and poi will be provided, but limited pieces only. So first come-first-served!
