(B.1985) also known as France is a Filipino visual artist, a painter, illustrator and a graphic designer. He graduated from University of the East and took up a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts major in Painting. He belongs to the family of artists, his father Jesus Rufino is also a painter and a former Professor at University of Santo Tomas. All of his siblings are also Fine arts graduates.
Growing up from the family of artists, he was exposed to different kinds of arts, mediums and techniques such as graphite, pen and ink, water color, acrylic and oil paint. Though he was inspired by his father’s art, he developed his own artistic style. Drew his own creatures and characters. Sketched figures and shapes. A freedom of creation that his father has taught him since he was young.
“Lift can be compared to different types and classes offairy tales, it is full of lessons, fantasy and wonder. It both has colors that act as a door that symbolizes the beginning and the end. It will be shown In this exhibit the difference and the sameness offantasy and reality”
