Painting & Carving Artist

She is a 39-year-old carving and painting artist, graduated from De Ocampo Memorial College with a degree in Dental Hygiene in 2004. Before starting her own business, she worked as a dental assistant in Singapore. In 2013, she founded Malikhaing Kamay Souvenirs, a small business that transforms scrapwoods into exquisite carved souvenirs. Over the past 13 years, she has created morion-themed souvenirs, dedicated herself to preserving the traditional art of wood carving of Moryon, and has even created Moryon miniatures and refrigerator magnets with unique designs.

Anamarie’s journey in business and the creative industry has led her to participate in various trainings through KMME of DTI Marinduque in 2017 and TESDA MARINDUQUE. She actively engages the youth in art workshops, allowing them to learn from her expertise and ignite their passion for art. Her vision is to pass her skills to the younger generation to help sustain the culture and arts in Marinduque and its tourism.

Her masterpieces can be found in Rejano Bakery, The Boac Hotel, and her own Art Hub located at Sitio Manggahan, Brgy. San Isidro, Sta. Cruz, Marinduque. The Arthub serves many tourists visiting Bagumbungan Cave.
