Actor Felino Dolloso is finishing up a busy 2018 with a couple more projects.
In the controversial feature film SURVIVE OR DIE, Dolloso played the lead role of The Captain, a people smuggler.
Directed by Mike Kang and Daniel Okoduwa, the film was officially selected to screen in the prestigious 8th AACTA Awards Australia film screenings in the cities Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in September 2018.
Reprising his role as Cabesang Tales in the Stage Production of The Story of Cabesang Tales, Dolloso takes on the theatre stage once again in late November 2018.
Produced by the Knights of Rizal – Sydney Chapter Production, Directed by Ferdinand Dimaano, written by Dr. Floro Quibuyen with Felino Dolloso in the title role of Cabesang Tales.
Tales is one of the characters in the book El-Filibusterismo written by Dr. Jose Rizal.
It tells of a farmer who stands up against oppression in the Spanish Colonial years in the Philippines.
This theatre production will be playing at the Greater Western Sydney Performing Arts Centre on the 24th of November 2018, Saturday at 6:30pm.
Dolloso has also recently finished filming a feature film with Director Matthew Victor Pastor.
Filmed in locations in both Sydney and Melbourne.
IN HEAVEN THEY SING KARAOKE is the title of the film.
The screenplay written by Pastor based on the original Stage Play written by Felino Dolloso.
A compelling Drama about a Pinoy TNT (illegal immigrant) in hiding living in Australia and the life he has with his surrogate family.
The film is currently in post – production and soon to be released in cinemas in the near future.
