Sangre.
The most vital liquid that is essential to life, to living. Feared yet essential. Mysterious yet part of every living thing.
In this body of work, the artist wishes to celebrate the mystery of women, the flawlessness of each one in her own way, the beauty of life that runs thru her veins.
All clothed in crimson, juxtaposed with their alabaster skin as if drained of all life’s blood, as they wear their strength outwardly for the world to see.
Jepoy Almario depicts women in all their fortitude and beauty, the study of contrasts that make each one unique and remain a mystery.
