The poster was a tribute to the late, great filmmaker Agnès Varda, the first female recipient of the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 2015 and the first female to receive an honorary Academy Award for her work in cinema in 2017.
The poster shows a 26 year old Agnès Varda shooting her first film, La Point Courte, in 1954.
