Botany Art Workshop for the Blind
A different view of the Philippine National Herbarium

A different perspective on our Philippine National Herbarium resource, workshops for the blind are being offered for free at the National Museum of Natural History. It will be conducted by the Botany and National Herbarium Division of the National Museum for visually-impaired students of the Philippine National School for the Blind. The workshop aims to provide new perception of Botany as field of knowledge to the students with difficulty in sight. This will enable visually-impaired students to make artistic concepts on how they remark Botany and plants in general. It will as well ensure further appreciation on the conservation of plants even to the most physically-challenged individuals.
For information and queries, please contact the Botany and National Herbarium Division at (02) 527 0278 and services.nationalmuseumph@yahoo.com.
