Abstract Views brings together nine artists whose works encompass a variety of concerns and artistic approaches within the realm of abstraction. Certain artists are paired together according to thematic or formalistic similarities in their works, while this simultaneously highlights the nuances that distinguish each of their creative practices.
The dialogue created through these artistic unions reveal the potential for differences to act as a springboard for complementary and reciprocal relationships and ideas to flourish. This likewise reflects the role of art as both an arena and an incubator where varying viewpoints from audiences and artists can interface. In this era marked by alienation and dissolution, Abstract Views champions the capacity of art to be an unifying power.
