Dear You,
We’re home!
We are Len-Len and Yllang. We’re both mothers and in the middle of mothering, we create. We create because we are mothers and vice-versa. Creating and mothering inform each other, in fact. We’ve got loads of crazy stories to unpack and lots of crazy art to sell and even more dreams to fulfill, but for now, we are livid to share with you what we have been dreaming of for the longest time. We’d like to welcome you to some space we call home. It’s rectangular in shape as it’s an old apartment, but hopelessly romantically speaking, it’s beautifully round, like a mother’s womb.
A circle is such a magical shape, isn’t it? It’s a vessel, a nest. It’s infinity, a circle of life. It’s solidarity, a community. It’s that basic shape a child draws to make a face, her mother’s face, or the sun. It’s the circle we form by holding each other’s hands during play time when we’re children. And speaking of children, they are welcome in this warm and welcoming circle. We think it’s a lot of fun to see this circle getting bigger as time goes by. We aspire to share this circle as a nurturing space with fellow mothers and their children and people who identify as mothers (we believe there’s a mother in all of us), and all of you who believe mothers deserve a strong support system, so we could keep up with the demands of this world.
We’re still building the circle, but hopefully, you could come hold hands with us as we dream of making this others could call their home, too.
Welcome to our humble abode, The O Home. We have prepared something nice for you. We hope you could come say hi to us soon. In the meantime, we have to spic and span the house. Do visit soon, and yes, some bread, fruits or tea won’t hurt. See you!
