In celebration of Museums and Galleries Month this October, the Mimaropa region is fortunate to have the oriental Mindoro Heritage Museum at its capital Calapan.
It features the province’s cultural icons such as the tamaraw, Mangyan, and Pakudos. The heritage museum is endowed with collections that tell the story of the people of the islands.
From natural objects to the manmade, even historical and political the heritage museum is a companion not only to the visitors but more importantly the locals who can be proud of their wealth of culture.
