Christian Regis

The heart of every Christian Regis art is the identity of the Filipino throbbing in its core. Initially known for his Manila historical landmarks, streets, and edifices, he has delved deeper into the spirit of the everyday Filipino through vivid splashes of color, taking us on an unexpected journey into the unfamiliarly familiar while convincing us that, despite its difficulties, life is always worthwhile.

After several successful solo shows throughout Metro Manila and the United States, he continuously contributes to and participates in a number of group exhibits and exhibitions held across the country.

Over the years, Regis’ style has evolved to his own unique distinctive approach. Generations of Filipinos, local and abroad, can find a common ground in his art, from the vibes of everyday Manila to its inhabitants’ superstitions, beliefs, and faithfulness.
