The concept of Sarah Geneblazo’s latest exhibit “Confined” is about home quarantine during the time of pandemic. Emptiness and loneliness can greatly affect one’s mental state especially during crisis. For Geneblazo, art became a sort of refuge and therapy to elude fear, anxiety, and depression. Through her works, the artist aims to covey how a home could be beautiful and safe, but wrecked and empty. It depicts the true state of life for some during the lockdown.
