Emman Acasio’s latest exhibit titled “Elysian Dreams” is inspired by the Elysian fields or “Elysium”. According to Greco-Roman mythology, it was the home of the blessed after death, the final resting place of the souls of the heroic and pure. This is Acasio’s personal tribute to the current pandemic’s frontliners, especially the healthcare workers, and how he considers them modern-day heroes.
