Multi-awarded visual artist Emmanuel John M. Santos stages his new works at SM Megamall’s Art Center in a show titled “Money Magnet,” this July 9th. The solo exhibit was organized by Historia Arts.
A combination of metal sculptures and paintings, the show is all about auspiciousness and attracting abundance in our lives as symbolized by his money trees.
In ancient Chinese geomancy, Feng Shui, a money tree is being put in facing the door of one’s home or place of business to attract positive energy.
In his new works, Santos has been able to combine different auspicious symbols like the ancient Chinese coins and colors, inviting good luck. To simply put, his works are not only pieces of art but talismans, which supposedly give strong positive luck to whoever will own them.
The show will run until July 20th.
