The Basic Filmmaking Workshop of Filipino Pictures, Inc. transferred to a bigger and more convenient location. The second floor of the newly opened Tomato Bomb Bar/Restaurant/ Gallery in Xavierville Ave., designed to accommodate conferences, workshops and other small events will be the new home of the next breed of aspiring filmmakers who chooses to be part of Filipino Pictures family.
Fully equipped with new and high-end audio and video equipment, Tomato Bomb is the newest place for artists to showcase their work in a very affordable and friendly rate. The second floor has the capacity that could hold up to 40 persons and a loft that could hold a much as 20 persons. It also showcases exhibits, film showings, theater plays and acoustic band performances.
The ground floor (a restaurant) serves original recipes of pastas, burgers, appetizers and rice meals that will give extra convenience to all workshop participants and guests.
Tomato Bomb is located at No. 63-B Xavierville Ave., Loyola Heights Quezon City. It is near KatipunanAvenue and which is close to Ateneo University, Miriam College and UP Diliman.
How to get there:
Take LRT from Cubao to Katipunan station. A tricycle terminal is located beside Mini Stop under the Katipunan corner Aurora Ave. flyover. Tell the tricycle driver it is beside Xavierville Royale Condominium.
From February 14 until March 31, Tomato Bomb Gallery will exhibit the paintings of Jon Red. "Red Alert" features Jon Red's "The Fourth Wall Series"
