ABOUT THE EXHIBIT

Comics have always made references to architecture, but François Schuiten and Benoît Peeters made the latter the center of their work. Playing with signs of past modernity, the series Cités Obscures

(Obscure Cities) portrays a postfuturistic era where the fabrics of society and time strata intertwine. Bordering the line between utopia and dystopia, the works of Schuiten and Peeters help us imagine the cities of today and tomorrow.
