This one-day workshop is aimed at independent photographers, writers, illustrators, graphic designers, artists and other freelance creatives who are ready to up the ante on their professional practice/s with an easy to understand primer on the rudiments of setting up a business in the Philippines . The workshop aims to guide the talented-albeit-business-challenged creative to the necessary steps to take from Freelance to being a self-employed small business owner/professional .
A quick list of what you’ll learn : pros+cons of going legit / procedures for business registration filing for the first time / type of business to register / BIR / DTI / permits / TIN / VAT / taxation basics / withholding tax / issuing receipts, client transactions / monthly maintenance, bookkeeping, and your very own questions answered by our guest expert Ms. Rose Anne Amarillo, a hands-on professional, well experienced in Financial and Management Accounting, Practical Accounting, Taxation, Bookkeeping, Auditing, Business Development and Data Analysis . All these and more in a detailed syllabus .
